1. Etching Chemicals
  • Acid etching Oxidation CY-29 Commonly used for etching copper on PCBs. It reacts with the copper to dissolve it and create the desired circuit pattern.
  • Copper sulfate: Used in electroplating to deposit a layer of copper on the PCB to enhance conductivity and provide a smooth surface for soldering.
  • Tin-lead or lead-free solder plating solutions: For soldering components to the PCB.
  • Alkaline cleaners: Remove oils, fingerprints, and other contaminants from the PCB surface before processing.
  • Solvent-based degreasers: Can be used for more stubborn contaminants.
  • Photoresists: Applied to the PCB before exposure to light to define the circuit pattern.
  • Silk-screen inks: Used for marking and labeling on the PCB.
  • Soldering fluxes: Help in soldering by removing oxides and promoting wetting of the solder to the PCB and components.
